Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Coordinator to manage the logistics of our export processes. This role is part of our USA Operative Team, reporting directly to the USA Branch Manager and it would be based in our offices in Atlanta . The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to streamline export operations, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in every shipment. You will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by addressing customer inquiries and providing the necessary information to facilitate smooth transactions. Ideal Candidate:
- Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy and compliance in all export processes and documentation.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Identifies and resolves issues to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong Communicator: Collaborates effectively with sales and engages with international clients to address inquiries.
Duties and Tasks:
- Export Shipment Coordination : Oversee all the aspects of export shipments, including documentation, scheduling and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Documents Preparation: Prepare and review export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Compliance Maintenance : Follow to all regulations and documentation requirements to ensure smooth customs clearance and avoid delays, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Manage Communication: Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transport.
- Monitoring Shipment Status : Track shipment status and provide regular updates to internal teams and clients, ensuring transparency throughout the shipping process.
- Back Up Operations: Assist in resolving any issues related to shipping, customs clearance, or documentation.
- Archive Documents: Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
- Team Collaboration : Work with sales and customer service teams to address client needs and elevate overall customer satisfaction.
Must-Have Qualities:
- Preferable coming from Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in export coordination or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to work in stressful situations.
- Flexibility to navigate the fast-paced nature of international trade.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and export management software.
- Proficiency in Cargo Wise system is required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
