Asset Servicing is responsible for the management of Voluntary and Mandatory Income and Corporate Actions events across the globe for both equity and fixed income products. Areas of focus include event creation, instruction, entitlement distribution, reconciliation, claims management, and dedicated client service. The Asset Servicing role requires a professional with deep Operational expertise and proven experience in managing high-risk functions with short deadlines.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We are searching for an experienced Operations professional to join Global Banking & Markets Operations in Salt Lake City as an Asset Servicing Manager. Responsibilities include:

  • Proven ability to effectively manage operational risks and develop control enhancements
  • Challenge existing risk and control framework to further reinforce the control environment
  • Drive reduction of exceptions and minimize any financial exposure to the Firm as well as clients

Communication

  • Articulate issues clearly and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate great interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Independently communicate with clients, brokers, vendors and/or market participants
  • Understand complex situations and communicate with senior leadership offering opinions and solutions

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Possess robust financial industry knowledge and experience
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows
  • Deliver consistently through effective time management, prioritization, and delegation
  • Enhance the control environment through business intelligence-related initiatives
  • Proven track record as an agent of delivery and change
  • Create a culture of innovation whereby teams proactively investigate new technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL SETS

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Prior exposure to Corporate Action event processing or middle office functions is preferred
  • Strong team player who collaborates readily with others
  • Improves current processes and develops creative solutions
