Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgery Opportunity Near Nacogdoches, TX (ASAP - Ongoing) We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity near Nacogdoches, TX. This position offers 24-hour on-call coverage across multiple facilities, providing both emergency and referred elective cases. Assignment Details: Shift Type : 24-Hour Call Coverage Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing Weekend Requirements : Yes On-Call Requirements : Yes Setting : Primarily inpatient surgical coverage for emergency department and referred elective cases Patients per Day : 10-15 (primarily inpatient) Duties: Provide comprehensive CV Surgical coverage for both emergency and elective cases. Collaborate with support staff and utilize typical clinic and hospital resources to provide the best patient care. Requirements: Board Certification : Required in Cardiovascular Surgery Fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery : Required BLS and ACLS Certification : Required (can be completed on-site if necessary) State License : Highly preferred, but open to candidates with an IMLC license with LOQ in hand.
