We are committed to building and embracing a diverse workforce and creating an environment that is open and inclusive for everyoneAs a member of the US Service Center Finance team, this position is responsible for general accounting functions and analysis of accounts, month end close and account reconciliation activitiesRESPONSIBILITIES:Various month end procedures and entries.Play a major role in the month-end close, year-end reporting, monthly reporting, and audit proceduresDirect accounting support for US Service Center branchesPerform various balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company reconciliationsAccounting & audit support of warehouse physical inventory countsAccurately and timely complete monthly bank and cash reconciliationsCross train and serve as back up for other accounting dutiesReview and analyze financial data, preparation of various ad hoc financial reportsAssist in the annual budget process compilation, analysis and reportingPreparation of year end schedules to support corporate reporting and audit requirementsAssist with both internal and external auditsSpecial projects as requiredOther related duties and responsibilities as required or assignedEQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Very strong working knowledge of Excel requiredProficiency with ERP systems & Cognos based reportingROLE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors Degree in Accounting required3 years prior experience at an Accountant levelAbility to administer effective communication skills across all levels of the organization and work well under pressure and deadlinesExcellent time management and organizational skills required, very high attention to detailAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervisionProblem solving skills and the ability to take command and ownership of projects, driving them to timely, efficient, and accurate completion.Ability to multitask on projects requiring broad skill sets, while maintaining high standards of work in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Work will be conducted in an office environment. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role.
