Senior Web Developer

Duration & Type: 6 months Contract with a major pharmaceutical industry client

Location: East Hanover, New Jersey

Responsibilities:

• Deliver knowledge through automated Media Monitoring systems that synthesize scientific, business and intellectual information to advance alerting services with optimized digital delivery channels
• Develop innovative solutions harnessing externally licensed content into workflows related to scientific and non-scientific information
• Apply rapid prototyping to propose new methods to deliver optimized solutions
• Create user-centered designs utilizing new UX/UI concepts and design trends

Required:

• Education: Bachelor degree preferred
• Understanding and passion for open-source technology
• Proficient in C#, Entity Framework, Angular JS, ASP.NET MVC4, Bootstrap, Jquery, JavaScript
• Proficient with processing common forms of data: JSON, XML, RSS
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Oracle and SQL Server
• Experience with AGILE development methodology is a MUST
• Action-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate level of understanding of project management principles
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and capable of taking technical guidance to execute to completion
• Strong computational problem-solving skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, and exceedingly high level of creativity
