The Manufacturing Technician II works in a Lean Manufacturing configure-to-order environment that concentrates on Quality, Cost and Delivery and will be responsible for Performing functional testing and troubleshooting at top level, and PCBA components of medical products in an FDA and ISO regulated environment. Candidate will demonstrate precision, organization, attention to detail and compliance with quality system requirements. Work effectively with team members and under general supervision, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities- Performing functional testing process following sequence of events though which determinate a software application is acting accordance with pre-determinate requirements.
- Responsible for troubleshooting top level or subassemblies that fail production process by identifying root cause, establish a plan of action to solve the problem and implement solutions.
- Responsible for working with line owner engineers to develop, test and process improvements to improve quality in manufacturing.
- Maintain first pass yield data, identify trending problems, ensure proper communication to implement solutions.
- Work in performance based Lean manufacturing organization with a continuous improvement strategy that focuses on eliminating waste.
- Responsible for 5S maintenance and improvement of their work area.
- Must follow assembly and packaging work instruction to exact details and be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English (typically related to safety, quality, manufacturing processes).
- Work within Manufacturing Pro ERP and Aegis Manufacturing Execution System.
- Verify all documentation prior to performing any operation to ensure documents are to latest revision in Agile Database.
- Participate in Kaizen events to improve process and quality. Proactively look for ways to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of the organization's systems, processes, and tools. Make recommendations for quality improvement.
- Work efficiently on-line where tasks vary as different models move through the assembly process and demonstrate excellent understanding of daily priorities to meet expectations of internal and external customers.
- Notify management regarding problems with the assembly or packaging processes.
- Follow inventory programs (in-process kanban) as specified. Perform parts counts in the production/stockroom to maintain accuracy with inventory.
- Training in the manufacturing processes to other associates as required; provide feedback on their progress.
- Ability to see where work efforts are needed and take appropriate steps to see that they get
- Use various cleaning solvents such as flux off 2000, alcohol, to clean assemblies as specified in documentation.

- High school diploma, GED, or additional relevant experience in lieu of education.
- AA degree on Electronics preferred.
- 1+ years of related technical experience and ability to perform multiple and complex operations.
- Requires experience operating various electronics equipment that may require pre-programming, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, signal generators and multimeters.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English - follow instructions, relay information, provide feedback and respond to questions both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to create and maintain productive working relationships within the work team and with other functions.
- Strong computer skills required (including Word, Excel).
- Experience with basic manufacturing equipment, both mechanical and electronic including use of hand tools such as: torque drives, needle nose pliers, screw drivers, cutters, tweezers, scissors, extractor knives, tape guns, etc.
- Good mechanical aptitude, dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Must be able to reach, bend and lift up to 25 lbs. on a daily basis.
- Available to work OT, evenings, and weekends when required.
