Position Overview: The Director, Growth & Digital Marketing r is a key leadership role within our marketing company, responsible for building and driving our digital department's growth and reporting directly to the President. This individual will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, acting as both an ideator and a doer. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in digital marketing, be passionate about client engagement and delivering on revenue goals. The ideal candidate is focused on, and has a proven track record with, account expansion and growth and elevating our digital offerings to industry-leading standards.
This position begins as a blend of doing, supervising, and directing as we evolve our current products, add new services including AI driven products, and develop our existing team. It’s role as we grow and mature will focus on growing the team, be first in class with client services, and directing our future. C FI is committed to helping to evolve and expand this role over time, with increased responsibility in and influence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Relationship Management:
○ Act as a key point of contact for digital marketing sales, from profiling prospects and customers to leading discovery calls to closing deals.
○ Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
○ Comfortable pitching to clients and conducting sales presentations via phone, video, or in-person meetings.
○ Work closely with clients to develop and refine their digital marketing strategies, making complex concepts accessible and actionable.
Digital Strategy & Execution:
○ Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with client goals.
○ Stay ahead of digital technology and trends, anticipating shifts in the market to keep our offerings competitive.
○ Build and expand the digital department capabilities, setting clear goals and creating innovative digital marketing solutions.
○ Manage and execute digital advertising, social media accounts, email campaigns, and website design.
○ Lead the strategy and implementation for product launches in the industry, ensuring successful market penetration and brand growth.
○ Work closely with the President to develop and maintain CFI’s brand and marketing plan.
Data-Driven Performance Management:
○ Set KPIs, track performance metrics, and continuously optimize campaigns based on data.
○ Master analytics and reporting, providing clients with clear insights and actionable recommendations for revenue generation.
○ Monitor competition and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Project Management & Workflow Development:
○ Develop efficient workflows for digital deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
○ Manage the end-to-end process of digital projects, from concept through to completion.
○ Oversee and manage subcontractors involved in digital projects, ensuring that their work aligns with project goals and quality standards.
Leadership & Team Collaboration:
○ Lead by example, building and guiding a high-performing digital team while also contributing hands-on to projects.
What the Ideal Candidate Brings to CFI:
● Digital Marketing Expertise: Proven track record in digital marketing with strong experience in digital advertising, social media, email campaigns, website design and video editing.
● Sales & Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to drive sales and build/cultivate lasting client relationships.
● Data-Driven Decision Making: Expertise in analytics, reporting, and optimizing campaigns based on performance data. Making recommendations for shifts in approach to recognize additional revenue quickly
● Leadership: Experience in leading and growing a team, with a player-coach mentality.
● Creative Skills: Ability to ideate and /or contribute to creative projects and design client presentations.
● Industry Experience: Experience in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry or similar is a plus, though not mandatory.
● Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with experience in managing digital projects from concept to completion.
Qualifications :
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required
● Minimum 4 years of sales/digital marketing experience required
● Experience with client/account management and revenue generation
● Intermediate to advanced experience with Adobe Suite and marketing tools like MailChimp
● Experience with Google Analytics preferred
