THE ROLE
- Lead a talented team of data scientists, guiding them in advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Partner with sports industry leaders to develop predictive models and algorithms that drive injury prevention strategies.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to analyze athlete biomechanics, health metrics, and performance data.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of commercial experience in data science, with significant exposure in the sports industry preferred.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams for at least 3 years.
- Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
