Healthie is seeking a results-driven, organized, & hands-on VP of Marketplace who will lead our efforts to scale our rapidly growing marketplace ecosystem, which launched in 2024 and currently consists of 55 partners. Following in the footsteps of many successful ecosystems like Shopify, Twilio, and Stripe, Healthie is building an interconnected ecosystem to support health tech innovation and enable our providers to access the thousands of possible tools to deliver personalized, longitudinal care.
The VP of Marketplace will be responsible for executing on Healthie's marketplace strategy. This role will focus on both the supply and demand sides of the marketplace, including partner acquisition and relationships, customer utilization, and new venture opportunities for the business. This is a phenomenal role for an ideal candidate, who will have direct experience scaling a SaaS marketplace leveraging a growing existing customer base.
What you'll be doing and held accountable for:
Lead Healthie's Marketplace & New Ventures Arm
  • Own P&L for Marketplace: Execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with Healthie's business goals, driving marketplace growth and utilization
  • Drive Utilization and Revenue for Healthie's Marketplace: Building strong relationships with our partners to build win-win-win-win customer experiences in health tech
  • Scale New Opportunities: Identify opportunities to build, buy, and partner to build a best-in-class experience for Healthie's customers
Enable Full Lifecycle of Vendor Partnerships across the Ecosystem
  • Build the Partner Ecosystem : Ensure that prospective and existing partners - which include technology offerings, apps, and service providers - are taken care of within Healthie's ecosystem which includes experience, value, knowledge of ways to integrate into Healthie's APIs, marketing opportunities, and more. Lead user acquisition, partner onboarding, and maintain supply-demand balance.
  • Drive genuine matchmaking & utilization : Ensure that Healthie customers are leveraging the integrations that make sense for their business and drive value for all.
  • Enable beautiful experiences within Healthcare: Understand and work within the important regulatory guidelines as set forth by HIPAA and ONC to drive seamless and compliant integrations across parties.
Build team and processes for scale
  • Scalable Systems & Operational Excellence: Develop scalable systems for partner management, financial tracking, and legal compliance. Own and constantly improve your KPIs which will include integration utilization, partner NPS and revenue.
  • Lead and mentor a team: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across departments, driving marketplace success and long-term scalability.
  • Product & Technology Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to enhance marketplace features, improve user experiences, and integrate new services. Make strategic decisions that strengthen partner relationships and support marketplace growth.
What we expect from you:
  • You've done this before: At least 5-8 years working directly within B2B SaaS marketplace or platform-based businesses. This includes getting into the day-to-day operations, understanding what makes a marketplace run smoothly from the ground up-whether that's managing vendor relations, tweaking pricing models, or stepping in to fix operational bottlenecks. You've spent time in, and enjoy, the trenches to make things work.
  • You Enjoy Execution: While you own strategy, you are action-oriented and learn by doing - whether it's onboarding vendors, brainstorming with partners on the best ways to integrate, and finding ways to scale processes - you get in the weeds. You know what it's like to build the plane while flying it, troubleshooting real-world issues and creating repeatable processes along the way to fuel growth.

This is a full-time position.

The base salary for this role is $190,000 - $220,000 per year + annual company bonus and benefits
The target salary range for this position is part of a competitive total rewards package. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
