Account Executive
Position Summary

Responsible for growing business-to-business accounts, developing and executing new business relationships, and providing consulting and sales services on an ongoing basis to clients and prospective clients.
Responsibilities
  • Attend initial and ongoing training on company products, business processes, and effective sales techniques; retain and apply skills and knowledge learned in training sessions.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers/clients and proactively develop new customer relationships through cold calling, telemarketing, networking events, referrals, and organized lists; travel throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to solicit current or future opportunities.
  • Manage current customer clientele by providing monthly/quarterly reviews, best practices recommendations, areas for improvement, status reports, service reports, and leasing/service contract data.
  • Evaluate customers' business scenarios, qualify customer needs, and develop solutions utilizing the company's core competencies, including hardware, software, and services.
  • Work closely with clients during all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and potential clients; develop and maintain relationships with multiple positions within the organization.
  • Meet sales goals determined by Sales Manager and Branch Manager.
  • Maintain all data regarding sales calls, forecast business, and update customer files in the company-provided CRM according to company standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet personal and corporate goals.
  • Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and coordinate all follow-up activities.
  • Estimate delivery dates for customers based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense accounts.
  • Keep an up-to-date personal calendar on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and state minimum auto insurance.
  • Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential for the performance of this job.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Prior business-to-business experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
