This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and learn from a team with varied strengths. You will learn the foundation of project management and be given exposure to multiple systems.Responsibilities:Assist with automation projects for various teams within Compass GroupWork with accounting teams to identify areas for automation.Help design, test, and implement automation solutions using relevant software (e.g., Excel Macros, Power BI, Power Automation).Gather data related to accounting processes and systems.Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Assist in integrating new automation tools with existing accounting systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software).Assist in the testing phase by validating automation solutions in real-world scenarios.Troubleshoot issues during testing and provide feedback for improvements.Coordinate with accounting, IT, and other departments to understand project needs and develop automated workflows.Attend project meetings and provide updates on the progress of automation initiatives.Qualifications:Pursuing Bachelor’s, as a rising Junior or Senior, in Accounting or similar undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 3.0Proficient in MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Access)Experience with macros, Power Automation, Power BI, or similar systemsRequirements:Demonstrate awareness, understanding and skills vital to work in a diverse environmentExcellent writing and editing skillsProficiency regarding time and meeting target datesHighly organized, detail oriented, and able to lead multiple projectsSelf-directed, proactive, and curiousAbility to be flexible and adjust to changing factors and conditionsCuriosity about the hospitality and service industryProven leadership skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsA collaborative work styleThis position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housingApply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( is a paid intern position; however, it is not eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
