Hybrid AV Programmer / Design Engineer (Plano, TX)

Job Description :

Our client is a Top AV Commercial Integrator in Texas and is seeking a talented Hybrid Programmer/Engineer with a strong background in both control programming and system design. This role combines technical programming skills with design engineering expertise, and we're looking for a well-rounded professional who can handle both aspects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Control Programming : Write and develop Crestron, Extron, and AMX control system code.
• DSP Code Development : Program and troubleshoot DSP systems.
• System Design Engineering : Review, design, and build out AV systems from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure systems meet client needs and specifications.
• Test and troubleshoot system installations to ensure smooth and effective integration.
• Provide technical support and guidance during system implementation.

Qualifications :

• Extensive experience in Crestron, Extron, and AMX control programming.
• Proven expertise in developing DSP code .
• Strong background in AV system design, including reviewing and building out systems.
• Comfortable with 50% travel
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, Crestron Programmer, CTS-D) are a plus.
