Job Requirements / Description

The Project Manager role within the ATO Digital Solutions & Strategy pillar will focus on project schedules, financials status reports, and risk logs across a few concurrent projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Assemble a complete list of tasks required to complete the project, including those from other departments, and incorporate these items into a project schedule.
  2. Create & manage the project schedule & budget.
  3. Monitor and track progress against the schedule and report progress, slippage, and changes in the schedule to key stakeholders.
  4. Identify and manage potential risks in the schedule and budget, ensuring there are contingency plans if something doesn’t go to plan.
  5. Manage the project documentation, especially the latest versions of plans & schedules.
  6. Define project milestones.
  7. Lead project team meetings.
  8. Lead some meetings with Customers where appropriate.
  9. Coordinate sign-offs at completion of each phase/stage.
  10. Analyze development progress, including defect resolution.
  11. Manage resource allocation and load balancing.
  12. Coordinate as necessary with F&A teams regarding ATO charge codes and chargebacks to the Business, and resolve issues with T&E reports.
  13. Provide detailed T&E reporting to Business teams as required.

Skills: Strong leadership ability is required. Typically requires field work in overseeing projects.

  1. Knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in related skillsets.
  2. Able to perform work that is varied and somewhat difficult in nature.
  3. Able to perform work with minimal to moderate supervision; able to apply and interpret business rules and concepts in daily work.
  4. 3-5 years of experience.
