About The Role

Crusoe Cloud is hiring a talented Product Manager to help accelerate the development of our carbon-reducing, AI-focused cloud platform. As a Product Manager focused on developer productivity, you will own the roadmap, definition and execution around making our cloud platform more usable, both externally and internally. You'll own our client surfaces (API, UI, CLI, Client Libraries, Terraform) plus style guides and tooling to help generate them, as well as core platform features like our user and organization management systems, enabling customers to more easily manage developers on the platform. Lastly, you'll help internal teams by owning our internal admin and support tooling, making our internal developers and team members more productive.

Day to day, you'll talk with customers, write technical product requirement specifications, create customer or executive facing presentations, and drive key product tradeoff decisions. You will work closely with many other Crusoe leaders and teams including engineering, design, support, and accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and empathize with our internal developers and business stakeholders, as well as our external developers, and gather their feedback.

  3. Prioritize features within the roadmap for your product area.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders including software engineering, support, and finance to define detailed product specifications and execution timelines.
  5. Distill complex technical details into clear action plans, and see them through to launch.
  6. Create product documentation and support customers through various channels.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of technical product management experience, or of product-minded engineering experience.
  3. In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, platforms, and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  4. Experience building and launching developer tools, especially CLI or IaC based tools.
  5. Proactive and self-directed: must be able to define and scope new initiatives with minimal guidance.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  8. A desire to learn and grow your product management skills in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Strong opinions, backed up by data, on how to make developers more productive.
  2. Experience using or building Identity and Access Management solutions.
  3. Experience integrating with third party systems including support systems like Zendesk and Jira Service Management, ERPs, billing/invoicing systems like Stripe, bill.com, etc.
