Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to join an engineering and construction firm in the Phoenix, AZ area. This position will be focused on managing a project that is taking place in a semiconductor plant, so having experience or knowledge that comes with this type of environment is a must. This project manager will be responsible for performing all project management functions required to promote and finalize sales including concept engineering, complete estimates, written proposals, and direct meetings, to successful job completion. The managers will also be responsible for successful management of contracts, including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution, and scheduling of field labor and installation sequencing.



Other responsibilities include:

  • Forecast and prepare budget projection and control costs within agreed upon limits.
  • Provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, strategies, etc. for good business procedures and legal protection.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain leadership of client meetings and development of contracts to finalize sales.
  • Provide supervision, leadership, and coordination of all departmental efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction and Service during project construction in a timely manner.
  • Consult with appropriate personnel including all Management and Department Heads.
  • Utilize internal resources to fullest extent The Project Manager utilizes and coordinates staff from all departments, as needed, for each project.
  • Act as mentor to others, actively participate in recruiting, training, coaching.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
  • Experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects in a semiconductor facility
  • Ability to operate independently and autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues.
  • Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization.



NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • PE license in Arizona



This is a direct hire role that is held fully onsite 5 days a week in the area. The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000 pending candidate experience.
