Essential Functions:
• Prepare workpapers to support tax, management and GAAP reporting.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns.
• Collaborate with team members to gather necessary documentation and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Analyze financial data and prepare tax-related journal entries.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of tax-related processes and procedures.
• Conduct research on various tax issues to support compliance and planning efforts.
• Contribute to audits and assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of tax principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and fixed asset software preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
