Our Electrical Engineers research, develop, design, and integrate electrical (Analog, Power, RF/Microwave, and Digital) components, embedded and digital signal processing software, equipment, systems, sub-systems, and networks for the defense of domestic and foreign purposes. As an Electrical Engineer you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of systems and equipment found within our radar systems ranging receivers, exciters and processing electronics and communications systems.
Raytheon is currently seeking an electrical design engineer to join the Receiver, Exciter & Back-end Processing Department (REBP). The Department’s products contain Analog, RF, Microwave, Low Noise References, Digital controls, and embedded Software. The primary responsibilities will be the development, test, integration and production support of our receiver, exciter products.
Typical solutions include, modeling, simulation, design, component selection, analysis, test, integration, and transition to production. If you have working knowledge of Antenna/Radar, Radar design, Receiver/Exciter design, Hardware/Software/Firmware design and test, have taken courses in Microwave/RF, Mixed Signal, VHDL, Digital Signal Processing, Power Systems and enjoy working in a collaborative space, then this is the place for you!
This position is an onsite role.
What You Will Do
Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design documentation maintenance, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification.

Integration and test of Digital components and modules.
Work as part of a team to analyze Hardware / Firmware test requirements / specifications to determine Hardware and Firmware requirements.

Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements.

Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
Qualifications You Must Have
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
