As part of the AOS Performance Engineering team, your responsibilities include ensuring that software, hardware, and systems are efficient and operate well, working closely with application and service engineering teams, and interacting with product, design, content, QA, and many other groups to lead and deliver extraordinary e-commerce experiences from merchandising to checkout on all platforms (Web, MOW, and Native iOS) in an exciting fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of overall experience in Software performance engineering in a professional setting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of performance engineering concepts like performance modeling and application performance testing tools like JMeter, K8, Gatling.
- Experience in programming in Java, Scala, or any other object-oriented programming language with a deep understanding of object-oriented concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer science, with an in-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and Service Oriented Architectures.
- Knowledge of No-SQL, RDS DB like Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase, Oracle.
- Knowledge of multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, multi-threaded, and reliable web services.
- BS or MS degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
