Aon is looking for an Account Executive I in San Francisco, CA

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk - Construction Services Group in San Francisco, CA.

Working with senior members of the team, your impact as an Account Executive I would include:

  1. Thorough analysis of current risk transfer programs, such as coverage and cost analysis and graphical representations of the program.
  2. Insurance program structure planning and design of alternatives based on client objectives.
  3. Prepare marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate, and assist in market meetings and negotiations, as appropriate.
  4. Finalize all risk transfer quotes and complete a thorough comparison of program options as part of the client proposal presentation. Comparison to include changes in exposure, losses, coverage terms and conditions and cost of risk.
  5. Contract Review.
  6. Responsible for ensuring proper client service.
  7. Policy and other related document checking.
  8. Invoicing and other transactional duties.
  9. Review and clearing audits and adjustments.
  10. Claims review and analysis.
  11. Assist team as needed, ie: special projects, daily backup.

  18. Resourcing information.
  19. Experience using Outlook and other related MS Office tools.

What The Day Will Look Like:

  1. Collaborates with senior unit members to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business.
  2. Accurately and timely responding to client requests and inquiries.
  3. Preparing new business and renewal and keeping them up to date.
  4. Analyzes client specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements; prepares and presents marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  5. Establish and maintain positive relationships with the underwriting community, especially key partner markets.
  6. Processing, and/or issuing where applicable, new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions and cancellations.
  7. Reviewing and proofreading all assignments, acquiring accurate signatures and dispensing as appropriate.
  8. Calculating adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance and provider documents.
  9. Lead, measure and report on ongoing insurance or risk retention programs.
  10. Handle daily tasks and key assignments with appropriate technology tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance license (if not, will be required within six months of employment) ARM, CRIS designation.

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to Five years in predominately casualty broking or underwriting environment.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $90,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
