Travel Nurse RN - Dialysis in Rapid City, SD

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Dialysis
**Job Specialty:** Outpatient Dialysis
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-Hour Days
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of two years of hemodialysis experience; travel experience required with at least one 13-week assignment
**License:** Registered Nurse (RN) License in South Dakota or compact state
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) required
**Must-Have:**
- Hemodialysis experience
- Competency in accessing and troubleshooting fistulas/grafts
**Job Description:**
- Provide dialysis care for both acute and chronic patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Float between inpatient and outpatient areas
- Work with a team of dialysis technicians, LPNs, and staff nurses
- Utilize patient scheduling software and charting system EPIC
- Operate Fresenius 2008T BlueStar Hemodialysis Machine (preferred)
- Operate WRO 300/300H Portable Reverse Osmosis System (preferred)
- Participate in a one-week orientation consisting of general hospital and department-specific training
- Participate in call schedules with defined weekend rotation and time-off policies
- Deliver care across a three-shift outpatient operation and a six-day inpatient operation with night call duties as needed
- Work holidays when necessary, with some exceptions
