Design Engineer

Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for a Design Engineer to work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance departments in designing parts and bakery equipment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Designs new equipment from concept and modifying existing bakery equipment.
• 3D computer modeling using Autodesk Inventor Software.
• Creating Bill of Materials from design drawings and layouts.
• Updating layouts with 2D AutoCAD.
• Develops cost estimation for parts and materials.
• Works with venders for raw material estimates and fabrication.
• Coordinate with other departments designs and timing for projects.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work well with others.
• 3 years' experience in mechanical design of parts or equipment.
• Welding methods is a plus.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to plan and execute project timelines.
