Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Marshville, North Carolina to find an experienced and eager Lumber Stacker to join their growing team!A lumber stacker's main responsibility is to maintain a constant flow of lumber to an automatic stacker for the final shipment stage.Employee will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Maintain straight consistency while the boards are incoming to the stacker lift table.Visually monitor infeed/outfeed of stacker.Monitor infeed to ensure the lumber does not jam.Assure lumber stacks are straight.Alert maintenance should a mechanical issue arise.Maintain a constant flow of pallet lumber stacks.Monitor and maintain a clean work area.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Duties:Excellent attendance.Excellent hand/eye coordination.Continuous physical demand in handling lumber using both hands.Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and pull wood continuously.Ability to recognize poor quality wood and discard appropriately.Ability to read a tape measure.Able to work independently.Follow established EWPI safety rules to include special emphasis on Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.Refer questionable matters to work leader or supervisor.Work in a safe manner.Maintain clean and orderly work area.Pay rate for this position is $13.50 an hour with a chance to become permanent with the company.This position is predominantly 1st shift with the hours of 7:00am - 5pm.Apply now if you are ready to start a new opportunity with a great company!Click on Apply Now to be considered for this job in Marshville, North Carolina call 843.537.4433, or you can visit our website to search for other opportunities that are currently available.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Pay Details: $13.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
