Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our real estate firm as the Vice President of Infrastructure and Deskside Support. This executive will oversee the entire IT infrastructure, ensuring it supports the operational requirements and strategic goals of the company. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience in infrastructure management, IT service delivery, and team leadership, with a strong focus on optimizing our deskside support services and leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies. Additionally, the role requires coordination with our parent company Cantor Fitzgerald, which provides core infrastructure services as a shared service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services like Microsoft Azure. Coordinate with the parent company to ensure seamless integration of shared services.
  • Deskside Support: Lead and manage the deskside support team to ensure timely and effective resolution of IT-related issues for all employees.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high levels of service delivery.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all IT systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Innovation: Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in IT infrastructure and support services, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance business operations, with a focus on leveraging Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and deskside support, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in a real estate or similar industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
  • In-depth understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centric solutions.
  • Proven project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Commitment to staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in the use of Microsoft Azure and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience coordinating and integrating shared services from a parent company.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure and experience and knowledge of other cloud service providers.
  • Proficiency in network administration, including Cisco, Juniper, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of storage solutions, including SAN/NAS systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with IT budgeting and cost management.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in IT service management tools.

Salary : $225,000 - $285,000 annually

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $225,000 to $285,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
