We are looking for an Experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team.Off-Shift Differential of $12,000 Annually Applies for Swing and Weekend Shift.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThis position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.Project Engineers are responsible for all activities that are carried out to successfully complete an assigned project. Activities may include interaction with customer and development of SOW, through design work, to manufacturing support.The following essential job functions are performed as a Project Engineer:Works directly with the customer and internal technical teams to ensure progress on all stages of project lifecycleCommunicates, consults with, and participates in design and manufacturing supportHelps to develop and release planning and purchases suppliesDevelops and executes high level and detailed project plans, including managing schedules and budgetsWorks directly with the customer technical team to determine detailed requirements and deliverables, communicates or presents to customer on project status or healthDirects and participates in engineering activities, including design and drafting, engineering reviews, and work order preparationResponsible for assuring materials are organized and ready for manufacturing, including carrying out purchasing activitiesInteracts frequently with shop floor to ensure project health; may have daily presence on shop floorCompletes and understands all quality requirements for projectsManages project scope and performs risk assessmentsMonitors and reports project financial performanceThe Project Engineer has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.QUALIFICATIONSDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEA Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field is required.2+ years of experience.Demonstrated leadership capabilitiesExperience with CATIA and NX or equivalent CAD software is requiredExperience working with composites, in a lean manufacturing environment or working with complex aircraft assemblies is idealADDITIONAL INFORMATIONSalary range for this role is between $68,000 - $145,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
