Job Description
The Business Readiness group sits within World Wide Customer Operations and works in collaboration with the Symphony Business Readiness team and the cross-functional stakeholders to create, develop, implement, and manage the Symphony Readiness processes, governance, and tools for VMware global product launches.
Responsibilities:
- Leads process improvement projects to evolve the Symphony framework focusing on SaaS and Solutions.
- Liaise with Symphony Business Readiness Managers and cross-functional leads to gather readiness requirements.
- Manages the PMO governance forums for executive reporting on launch readiness.
- Acts as advisor to the stakeholders regarding the Symphony framework.
- Documents best practices and creates templates in areas of launch management.
- Helps in managing the PMO content and workflow online tools in SharePoint.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have project management experience with SaaS/cloud service launches and will have participated in cross-functional launch projects with global teams. In addition, they will have:
- Project management experience.
- Software release management experience.
- Experience managing product releases and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
- Experience implementing, managing, and measuring launch processes and operational procedures.
- Ability to adapt well to continuously changing priorities and opportunities.
- Excels in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Global marketing experience preferred.
- SharePoint tool experience preferred.
