Job Overview:
As a Lab Aide you will play a crucial support role in laboratory settings, assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of experiments and research activities. They are responsible for preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, conducting routine tests, and assisting with data collection and analysis. Lab Aides also help with sample preparation, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and recording experimental results. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this position. This role is integral in supporting scientists and researchers by ensuring that laboratory operations are efficient and accurate.
Education:
High School graduate or high school equivalency and current enrollment in Associates Program for MLT, Bachelors Program for MLS, or other biological science degree.
Experience:
Phlebotomy or laboratory experience preferred. Laboratory Information/Data Entry experience preferred but not required. Medical Terminology and diagnosis coding experience preferred but not required.
