Role Summary:
The Precision Machinist will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role includes fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments, as well as making or repairing machine tools and maintaining industrial machines. This is a 1st shift opportunity with potential for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC Machines, CNC Lathe, VTL, BMH
- Using precision measuring equipment/instruments
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and geometric tolerances
- Adhering to health, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Performing equipment maintenance and repair
- Following operational procedures and compliance standards
- Communicating effectively with team members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment
- High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years relevant experience
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Clear and effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize activities
- Application of safe work systems
