Senior Sales Representative for Legal Client Intake

Our Los Angeles office is looking to hire an experienced Client Intake Specialist with strong sales experience and a desire to grow within the legal industry. A Client Intake Specialist is the first point of contact with prospective clients. They are responsible for screening leads and obtaining case details that will allow the firm to determine if a case should be retained or not. This position must be staffed by an individual who is business development oriented and works well with people. We ask that you have a strong customer service background and possess the ability to screen potential client calls. You will ensure operational excellence and handle a large volume of incoming client calls. The ideal candidate is able to work some weekends and able to commute to our Los Angeles office, as is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Screen telephone calls before scheduling an attorney-client consultation
2. Persistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (email, internet, phone and referrals)
3. Immediately contact every potential client and establish a relationship with them
4. Update logs and reporting systems to reflect the status of all potential new clients
5. Conduct potential new client interviews with genuine empathy and compassion
6. Schedule appointments for potential clients
7. Take accurate notes during the attorney-client initial consultation
8. Collaborate with our attorneys to complete the initial consultation process
9. Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases
10. Follow instructions from the supervising attorney and perform accordingly
11. Write emails, transcribe notes, research legal documents, fax, copy, and create and maintain complex spreadsheets

Qualifications:

1. Bilingual (English/Spanish) with full proficiency
2. Minimum 3 years of sales experience required, customer service experience a major plus
3. Strong background with performance-based metrics
4. Case Management software experience is a major plus
5. Resourceful and motivated to solve issues as they arise
6. Strong attention to detail
7. Proven track record to meet goals and deadlines
8. Must be able to work weekends
9. SALES EXPERIENCE WITH NO LEGAL BACKGROUND ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

Pay Range:

$65,000-$75,000. Pay range is subject to change based on experience on a case-by-case basis.
