Job Requirements / Description

We are looking for a New Business Case Manager to join our team. The New Business Case Manager, you will provide knowledge to assist with moving new business through the carriers as quickly as possible, while providing daily support to clients and agents with thorough knowledge of company and carrier standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Process new life and annuity business to include scrubbing applications, ordering paramed/lab exams, suitability review, submitting application to the carrier, check status and resolve any not in good order issues, client conference calls to facilitate transfers and rollovers 
  • Manage the business all the way from the beginning until the case is finalized. 
  • Provide post-issue customer service and daily agent support. 
  • Customer relationship support through the new business process. 
  • Back-up sales support, including illustrations and product knowledge. 
  • Provide back-up licensing support as needed. 
  • Assist in troubleshooting commission issues as needed. 
  • Processing carrier mailings.  
  • Delivery receipt tracking. 
  • Create and maintain relationships with carriers, case coordinators, and underwriters. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Performs other responsibilities, as requested or assigned by management. 
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties, as requested or assigned by management.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of suitability requirements. 
  • Knowledge of industry standards. 
  • Understanding of licensing processes. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle difficult customers and resolve conflicts
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Insurance License, preferred and beneficial. 
  • Strong customer service and administrative skills. 
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Fluency and adaptability with technology. 
  • Superior organizational and time management skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills.
