Overview:
IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company looking for a Mid-level Systems Engineer to support a federal law enforcement client in Washington, DC. This is a high-impact role that will allow you to utilize a variety of technologies and contribute to mission-critical projects. Responsibilities/Duties:
- Update and maintain applications in a cloud development environment
- Update and maintain on-premises testing and production virtual servers
- Work with agency level enterprise developer services representatives to move applications into a full DevOps process
- Assist development team with upgrade and deployment activities for all environments
- Assist security personnel with vulnerability mitigation and system documentation
- Ensure the scheduling, processing, and documentation of system delivery and implementation
- Monitor and address issues/problems reported by the application user base
- Research and respond to development team questions/issues
Required Qualifications :
- At least 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering, including the following:
- Scheduling, processing, and documentation of system delivery and implementation
- Experience working with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to backup, restore and execute SQL scripts
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and SharePoint
- Experience supporting/maintaining on-premises environments from both software and security standpoints
- Experience guiding software changes through a customized approval process
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred. An additional four years of experience may be substituted for the degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with agency-level enterprise development services environment
- Experience supporting new application features from an architectural standpoint
- Experience creating and maintaining cloud-based environments in AWS
- Experience migrating to and/or working within a DevOps environment
