Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules.
Perform work safely and efficiently in all areas of the plant including break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors.
Ensure work area and janitorial supplies are properly organized and maintained.
Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
Complete necessary paperwork to ensure all documentation requirements are met.
Assist in executing pest control program and monitoring facility.
Assist in snow removal and management during winter months.
Complete non-routine cleaning/sanitation tasks as assigned.
Assist in the training/mentoring of newly hired janitorial team members.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Contact with federal/state/regulatory inspectors on an annual basis.
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety Protocol
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.
