Air Freight Coordinator Summary:
Coordination of air freight for export; support general office operations whenever needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Inventory control and export coordination of air freight shipments
• Documentation preparation and presentation to U.S. Customs
• Respond to phone, e-mail, or faxed rate or booking requests from clients, agents or outside sales
representatives.
• Handle quotes and bookings for consignee routed cargo as requested by our agents or USA shippers.
• Coordinate pickups and provide timely quotes for inland as well as airfreight costs that are available in
our system.
• Obtaining estimated costs for unusual cargo such as oversize, dangerous goods and perishables.
• Follow up on cargo arrival for pending inland arrangements.
• Assist in any service requests from customers or agents as required by the line managers in the Air
Freight Department.

Prior Industry Experience preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general industry documentation/communications.
