The physical security specialist oversees the day-to-day administration of security operations center (SOC), focusing on alarm systems management (MAS), closed circuit television (CCTV) system, travel safety system, and contract SOC operator activities. Maintains contact with and responsiveness to the GA Counterintelligence (CI) Manager. Works with the contract security guard account manager to train and schedule contract security guard SOC operators. Maintains relationships with affiliate security supervisors related to enterprise alarm and CCTV management issues monitored by the GA SOC. Ensures camera, lighting, and fence/gate audits are conducted and reported to management. Anticipates problems and proactively works to provide solutions to effectively administer the security guard contract account. Identifies problems and communicates them to management for engagement and resolution. Coordinates needed support services related to alarm and CCTV systems management, including maintenance and repair of lighting, fences, doors, CCTV, and all alarm systems. Provides oversight to ensure SOC operators deliver quality customer service. Provides after-hour emergency response or guidance to SOC operators when necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor daily SOC operations
- Support a team of SOC operators, including training, coaching, development, and technical support
- Ensure Company alarm and CCTV systems are functioning properly and provide quality coverage to support security department objectives related to the protection of people and property
- Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with security personnel across the enterprise related to alarm and CCTV operations
- Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage alarm and CCTV systems
- Engage with security guard vendor and provide oversight to assigned contract SOC operators and guards
- Able to obtain and maintain secret level security clearance
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Travel to other GA locations may be required
- Will report to GA Counterintelligence Manager
- Assignment is on-site, not remote
- Ensure all required reporting requirements are met.
- Assure regular communication of issues or programs with management
- Handle any escalated SOC issues or emergency situations appropriately.
- Communicate staffing needs with the CI Manager.
- Develop SOC staff in both technical and professional skills through training and mentoring
- Respond and support after-hours emergent SOC issues that arise.
- Develop/maintain operational procedures to ensure valid, site-specific SOC related post orders and job aids are available for emergency reference by the security staff.
- Take a proactive role in communicating with the CI Manager regarding SOC and alarm/CCTV, physical security survey findings that require attention.
- Meet regularly with contract account manager and affiliate security department colleagues to listen to issues, provide SOC and alarm/CCTV system expertise and solutions.

- Resolver Reporting
- Input, review, edit, and update all Activities and Incidents installed into Resolver
- Query and compile data contained in the Resolver system as needed for meetings and reporting
- Assist Security Management with any Mastermind, Lenel, or CCTV issues. Follow up with corrective action recommendations.
- Assist Security Management with updating any: Flip Charts, Job Aids, or informational instructions as required.

Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires an Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and at least one year of security experience in a corporate or government environment. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance is required.
- Experience with DOD processes and procedures or an equivalent regulatory environment and/or military training is preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD clearance.
- Must have a basic understanding of the NISP, NISPOM, SUP, JAFAN, ICS, and working knowledge of established policies, procedures, and practices for safeguarding National Security Information.
- Must possess:
