  2. Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available systems in the NEP data center and public cloud environments, ensuring the smooth acquisition, processing and delivery of content.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, performance, and deployments, with a focus on uninterrupted production and delivery.
  4. Continuously improve our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high system availability and performance, delivering optimal broadcast output.
  5. Collaborate with broadcast engineers and software developers to identify and implement measures to optimize system performance and reliability, contributing to a seamless customer experience.
  6. Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in DevOps, cloud technologies, and related tools, applying innovations to further develop our world class offerings.

Requirements

  2. Strong experience in designing scalable & highly available service solutions using the latest tools and technologies.
  3. Proficiency in using infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) to build and manage infrastructure.
  4. Experience with setting up and managing containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (K8/K3), ensuring effective broadcasting operations.
  5. Deep knowledge in Observability platforms for logging, metrics and tracing – some of the tools we use are Prometheus, Graylog and Grafana.
  6. A passion for automation and automated testing using CI/CD tooling and test frameworks.
  7. Previous experience working in a live broadcast or media environment.
  8. Experience in public cloud and hypervisor technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, or ESXi with vSphere.
  9. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices, contributing to a nimble and efficient environment.
