Fluidra’s looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team. This posting is for one role but listed in multiple locations due to remote flexibility. Must be located in PST zone to be considered for this role.


What You Will Contribute

This position will be primarily responsible for activities relating to Cash, Prepaids, Corporate Credit Card/PCard Administrator, Expense Report audits, and P-card/Expense Accruals. The Accountant will also be responsible for maintaining bank reconciliations, prepaid reconciliations, accrued liability reconciliations, and providing support for internal/external audit inquiries.


Additionally, you will:

  1. Prepare journal entries and other accounting transactions, maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are IFRS compliant.
  2. Play an active role in the month-end close process and perform account reconciliations.
  3. Expense Report Auditing in Oracle to ensure compliance with Company Policy.
  4. Escheatment maintenance and reporting.
  5. Coordinate requests between external/internal audit teams and related business units for successful completion of multiple annual audits.
  6. Corporate Credit Card /PCard Administrator and support over 300 credit card holders.
  7. Support management through ad hoc data collecting, reporting, analysis, and special projects.

What We Seek

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Must have the ability to think and work independently and possess excellent time management skills in order to meet goals and deadlines under sometimes pressured conditions
  • Commitment to complete month-end close duties
  • Ability to handle high processing volume in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess great customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain composure in times of stress
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Successful track record of completing a 3-day month-end close preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cash reconciliations and general ledger accounting is a plus.
  • Mindset to initiate process improvements preferred

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance or another related field

Expected salary range is $70,000 - $85,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
