My client is a close-knit small to midsize general contractor in the Columbus Area. They have been around for a few decades and have created a very reputable name for themselves. They specialize in tenant improvement and additions but are growing in the ground-up space, with a focus on commercial construction as well as light industrial, medical office space, municipal, and the retail space. Projects are typically in the $1-10 Mil range. They are looking to grow more into the ground-up market and want a leader to join their team to help with the expansion. This is an opportunity where your voice will be heard, get to sit in with senior leadership, and directly assist with the growth of the company.
Description
- Work across Project Management team and manage the day-to day operations
- Ability to make decisions that consider both schedule and budgets
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
- Manage scope review process
- Negotiate change orders
- Manage and update budgets
- Conduct regular status meetings with project team
- Deliver projects on time and within company profit targets

Profile
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management is plus) but not mandatory
- Project Managing experience ideally with 5+ years as APM or PM with commercial GC
- Experience with a General Contractor
- Strong communication skills and vendor relationship experience
- Procore experience is a plus
