This is an exciting role for an individual to join the Revenue team as Sr. Sales Executive - US. The Sr. Sales Executive is a commission-based role accountable for growing revenue by bringing in inbound leads through outreach activities. This role reports directly to the VP of Sales and will join a growing sales team that engages with customers to solve business objectives with Calligo cloud and data solutions.

Note: This role can work from our Seattle office on a hybrid basis with a minimum of one day per week spent in the office, or fully remote for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure achievement of agreed sales targets
  • Positively contribute to a winning culture
  • Identify areas of opportunity for increased efficiency and greater sales results including leveraging social selling strategies to generate revenue
  • Drive the sales process, including lead management, qualification, evaluation, and closing
  • Partner cross-functionally to achieve sales targets and identify new opportunities
  • Leverage technology and enablement tools to maximize function effectiveness
  • Act as a team player to support the Company objectives and Client strategy
  • Conduct sales and industry research
  • Write/build key account strategies
  • Perform any other duties as required

Typical Activities Include

  • Execute the sales strategy to meet the agreed milestones and timescales
  • Meet and exceed sales activity targets (KPIs)
  • Participate in weekly meetings, prepared to discuss status of funnel, forecast, pending projects, proposals, and challenges
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales forecasts
  • Work with Legal to ensure contractual aspects of Calligo's services are applied
  • Use social selling platforms to create prospects
  • Operate within the policies and procedures relating to all Company Compliance and Privacy Standards
  • Engage frequently with new client and prospective clients

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • 5+ years of proven track record of success selling data and/or cloud solutions in direct sales roles, consistently achieving targets and goals
  • Demonstrated skillset in pipeline management, consultative selling and sales methodologies, deal structure and objection handling
  • Demonstrated ability to create research accounts and contacts and create plans
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to gather and analyze data sets, to make suggestions and influence for a positive sales outcome
  • Excellent executive engagement skills with the ability to quickly create long term relationships
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the marketplace and the needs of a fast-paced growing organization
