- Education for this position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field or the equivalent of four years of related experience.
- Must possess experience with electronic accounting systems, including payroll, accounts payable, revenue, month end journal entries and creation of financial and management reports.
- Candidate has not been sanctioned or excluded from participation in federal or state healthcare programs by a federal or state law enforcement, regulatory, or licensing agency.
Day to Day:

Assists Controller with the accurate tracking and reporting of financial information relating the operations of the company, reporting activity in the appropriate accounting period. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to the General Ledger to accurately reflect business transactions.

Analyzes financial information and assist Controller in detailing assets, liabilities, and net assets, and with the preparation of the balance sheet, statement of revenue and expenses, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.

Contract and grants management, including the monitoring of income and expenditures of clinic grant sources. Preparation of monthly grant invoicing and summary budget reports prepared for supervisors.

Track cash activity and account balances daily, utilizing bank information and system generated reports. Provide the Controller with summary of available cash balances each morning and assist in projecting cash flow requirements.

Make recommendations for the implementation of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and consistency of general accounting functions. Participate in the expanding understanding of the Accounting System to fully utilize the system to facilitate the efficient operations of the Accounting Division.

Works with Controller to complete annual federal and state compliance reports.

Assists with annual audit performed by external auditors, compiling required information and documentation.

Performs other duties as assigned or as needed.
