Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma in Salem, VA

**Job Description:**
- Work in an emergency department with 8 beds
- Be part of a team with 23 total RNs
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
- Utilize equipment such as GE Monitors, Nursecall system, small ventilators, Baxter pumps, and Zoll defibrillators
- Employ the Meditech EMR system for patient documentation
- Perform procedures including IVs, EKGs, and medication mixing
- Independently mix pharmacy drugs such as Tpa and KCentra
- Scan medications for every patient and each medication administered
- Be a team player with an outgoing and independent personality
- Rotate weekends with commitments to three weekend shifts, specifically Fridays and Saturdays, per 4-week schedule
- Adhere to dress code requiring navy or white scrubs
- Be available for holidays as required by unit guidelines and policies
