Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: NYC Metro Area
Work Schedule: 4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote

Position Overview
Our client, a growing company in the NYC Metro Area, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and provide strategic direction for the organization. The CFO will work closely with the executive team to develop financial strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive business performance. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong financial background and proven experience in high-growth environments. The candidate will work on-site 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and objectives.
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements, maintaining strong internal controls and risk management practices.
Provide strategic insights to the CEO and executive leadership team to guide business decisions and improve financial performance.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s strategic plan.
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and capital expenditure planning to ensure the company’s financial stability.
Lead M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger financial strategy.
Implement and optimize financial systems and processes to improve reporting efficiency and operational performance.
Mentor and develop the finance and accounting teams to foster a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably in a high-growth environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Experience with M&A activities, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
