Responsibilities:- Mechanism design which includes bearings, gears, motors, springs, and other approaches
- High Reliability mechanical design and analysis for long life space applications
- Generating fabrication documentation and vendor specifications
- Assembly and test including environmental testing, shock, vibration and thermal
- Motion Control for spacecraft actuation
- Data acquisition systems configuration and testing support
- Proactively identify roadblocks to technical progress and take steps to mitigate/avoid
- Review test data and recommend changes to products and/or processes
- BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 3+ years’ experience or MS
- Proficient with a variety of computer aided design & analysis
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills

We offer a flexible salary range for this job posting that will be customized based on the qualifications of the chosen candidate. Our compensation strategy takes into account various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment. The position is available at multiple levels, and the corresponding salary ranges are as follows:
Mechanical Engineer III: $107,000 - $133,000
Mechanical Engineer IV: $124,000 - $153,000
Mechanical Engineer V: $142,000 - $176,000
