GM Job Description

  1. Lead a team of delivery drivers and CSR’s to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
  2. When closing, responsible for end of the night bank deposits.
  3. When closing, responsible for doing a nightly product inventory count.
  4. When opening, ensure the store is set up properly and ready to receive orders upon time of open.
  5. Foster and project a sense of urgency with each and every order.
  6. Ensure the store is running according to Domino’s Operation Evaluation Review standards.
  7. Oversee total store operations.
  8. Communicate with other managers and staff regarding any aspect that impacts business operations.
  9. Calculate product and ingredient needs for a bi-weekly commissary and beverage delivery.
  10. Actively train the GMIT on all aspects of store operations.
  11. Maintain staffing levels that mirror the needs of business at any point of the day.
  12. Create and maintain an employee schedule based upon labor needs.
  13. Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shift.
  14. Comfortable with dispute resolution and ensuring every unhappy customer is a returning customer.
  15. Ensure vehicles used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually.
  16. Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize service to customers while maintaining Domino's standards of orders delivered on time.
  17. Ability to read and understand P&L ledger.
  18. Uphold Domino's standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance.
  19. Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
  20. Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operating pizza oven, and properly boxing products for delivery or carryout.
  21. Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person.
  22. Ability to speak and write clearly and comprehend using a computer-based order entry system.
  23. Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.

Qualifications:

  • Pass background check.
  • At least 1 year of prior GM restaurant experience.
