Position: Japanese Bilingual Accounting AdminLocation: New York, NY (Midtown) - On siteWork hour: 9:30am - 6:00 pm (M-F)Classification: Non-Exempt, full-time, Direct-HireUnder the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess advanced conversational Japanese language skills and has some accounting experience and/or knowledge.Responsibilities:Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, and expense reimbursement.Review invoices and enter relevant information into the accounting software.Monitor cash flow and account balances, and initiate account transfers as necessary.Process journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.Assist the Accounting Manager with monthly closing and auditing activities.Maintain accounting-related documents and reports.Perform office administrative duties, such as answering phone calls and filing documents.Qualifications:Japanese Bilingual: Advanced conversational level proficiency in Japanese is required.Basic accounting experience and/or knowledge is required.Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) required.Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision/Life), Paid Vacation, Holidays, 401K, and employee discount.The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
