Assistant Professor of Clinical Integrative Anatomical Sciences - Human Anatomy

The Department of Integrative Anatomical Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the non-tenure Clinical track. The position will begin July 1, 2023, or shortly thereafter.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach human gross anatomy to health professional students in a dissection-based course with a clinical emphasis in an integrated medical curriculum.
  2. Teach and advise in the department's M.S. and Ph.D. programs.
  3. Develop and maintain a productive research program with the potential to attract extramural funding.
  4. Contribute to the teaching of related anatomical sciences (e.g., neuroanatomy, embryology, or histology) as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  2. Prior experience teaching human gross anatomy.
  3. Strong commitment to empirical scholarship in the anatomical sciences.
