Reconciliation Analyst

Job Title: Trade Programs Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare FTA Reconciliation Files and collaborate with customs brokers to ensure timely filing. This includes analyzing import data, comparing it to FTA certificates, and preparing amended entry data files for customs brokers to request refunds. (60% of your time)
• Create standardized work processes by identifying and documenting each step in the reconciliation process. (20% of your time)
• Provide additional support for various activities such as FTA certificate solicitation and drawback documentation support. (20% of your time)

Requirements

Qualifications/What You Bring (Must Haves)

• 2+ years of experience preparing and filing customs reconciliation filings with U.S. Customs.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills to conduct analysis and prepare amended entry files.
• Strong attention to detail.

Added Bonus If You Have (Preferred)

• 2+ years of experience preparing and filing duty drawback claims with U.S. Customs.
• 2+ years of experience working for a customs broker or an importer.
