IT Systems Architect

Responsibilities:

You will be the primary subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader, responsible for providing strategic advisory services and leading the technical vision for large-scale IT support projects. You will work with senior leadership to align project objectives with organizational goals and ensure successful implementation of Army Housing IT systems. Your role will include overseeing system modernization, implementing best practices in software development, and ensuring adherence to DoD standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning and overall direction for IT modernization initiatives within the Army Housing Division.
• Serve as the primary advisor on IT systems engineering, software architecture, and security practices.
• Design and implement innovative solutions that enhance the functionality of AHOUS and HEHRR systems.
• Advise on the integration of emerging technologies, such as cloud computing and data analytics, into system designs.
• Ensure compliance with Army and DoD IT policies, and represent the company at high-level client meetings and discussions.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in senior-level IT consulting roles with a focus on federal or military systems.
• Proven track record of managing complex IT systems and delivering successful project outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Expert knowledge of Army and DoD regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and IT governance.
