This is a US based position that will be remote in the Los Angeles, CA market.
We have an opportunity on our WSS team in the Los Angeles area. We are hiring a Sr. Manager, Human Resources who will support and assist the Director of Human Resources in managing the coordination of Human Resource services and initiatives within the Customer Experience and Sales business to provide a customer-focused and high-performance culture. You will function as a strategic business partner, consultant, coach and aspire to be innovating when it comes to Human Resources best practices, focusing on synergy and collaboration across North America. You will oversee a team of HR professionals and be responsible for enhancing their HR expertise, leadership, and career development.

Responsibilities:
- Operates as a Human Resources business partner consulting leaders to identify gaps, build HR strategies and processes to achieve business priorities.
- Collaborate with HRD and Customer Experience GEO Leadership in supporting the organization’s long-term goals; identify ways to support these goals through performance management and people analytics.
- Collaborates, strategizes, and participates with Talent Acquisition, and field Leaders to acquire and retain top talent. Ensures talent assessment process is consistent, creating equal opportunity for all team members and talent elevation.
- Acts as liaison with the HR COE teams to coordinate the development of programs, systems, and processes that increase employee engagement, performance, retention, and development.
- Supports a team of field HRMs in support of their functional responsibilities within their assigned business areas as well as their professional development.
- Identify key performance indicators for the human resource functions; assesses success and market competitiveness based on these metrics and other people analytics.
- Furthers the Diversity Inclusion and Belonging strategy, principles, and pillars.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, with proven success in senior-level HR roles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to make sound, ethical decisions with a high level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in handling sensitive and complex employee relations issues confidentially and objectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a high-performing HR team.
- Proficiency in analyzing HR metrics and utilizing data to inform decision-making.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
- Experience in fast-paced, multi-unit, and geographically dispersed environments.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant business.
- Experience with executive-level exposure and support.
- Corporate and field HR experience.

Benefits:
The annual base salary range is $100000 - $110000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package.
