Senior Data Scientist

Title: Senior Data Scientist (Workforce Management/Operations Research Focused)

Location: Bentonville, AR (Relocation Assistance Provided)

Salary: Up to $160,000 + Bonus & RSU (Over 200K TC)

Here is an opportunity to bring a top global retailer in one of their most exciting Data Science teams. This group is responsible for developing ML algorithms for their Workforce Planning & Scheduling across thousands of stores, distribution centers, and more.

The ideal candidate is someone who has 4-5 years of professional Data Science or Machine Learning experience, a background in Operations research (professionally or academia), and is local in Bentonville or willing to relocate immediately.

Key Requirements:

1. 4+ years of experience in Applied Machine Learning with experience for both supervised and unsupervised algorithms.
2. Professional experience building time-series models such as (ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, etc).
3. Minimum 1 year experience with Casual Inference frameworks, Bayesian Networks, or Operations Research Methods (Workforce Planning, Shortest path models, Workforce Scheduling).
4. Familiarity with MLOps practices including design documentation, unit testing, integration testing, and version control (git).
