As the Key Account Manager, Uro-Oncology - Pacific you will be a critical part of the customer facing team responsible for launching our new intravesical gene therapy. This position will require the ability to navigate the intricacies of urologic & uro-oncologic settings of care. The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for the development and execution of the key customers and accounts plans in collaboration with other stakeholders to ensure long term success of this product. S/he is responsible for regular interactions with urologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, C-Suite, administrators, tumor boards, teaching institutions, hospitals, and formulary committees. The KAM is responsible for facilitating a ONE FERRING strategic engagement approach for the key accounts in their territory and is expected to routinely interact and collaborate with local internal cross-functional stakeholders to improve engagement in the accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performance in assigned District, which is comprised of Pacific: CA, AZ.
- Co-Leads the development and execution of the Strategic Account Plans with the Director of Key Account Manager.
- Responsible for pull through of the account plan with the local cross-functional partners via routine calls and meetings.
- Leads/Participates in routine ONE Ferring cross functional market meetings with focus on account/customer profiling, performance engagement and accountability.
- Manages communication cadence of the Uro-Oncology cross functional team engagement at the account level.
- Demonstrates peer leadership with local field teams, cross-functional partners, and internal leadership.
- Accountable for the development of Strategic engagement opportunities with KOLs within assigned accounts.
- Proactively communicates updates and trends to Key Account Manager Directors.
- Gathers insights from aligned accounts and serves as a rapid conduit of information back to the broader organization.
- Collaborates with Marketing on Key Account Management team initiatives and aligns to marketing direction.
- Co-Develops KOL and Congress Engagement Plans & Execution.
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
- Strongly desired at least 2+ experience in Oncology and/or Urology
- Bladder Cancer experience preferred.
- Account Management Experience required, experience navigating complex accounts critical for success.
- Technical knowledge of health care reimbursement from a patient and provider perspective.
- Establishes effective relationships through mutual respect and trust in dealing with others.
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and not having set processes and structures in place.
- Ability to identify issues quickly and develop recommendations to resolve in a timely, compliant manner.
- Strong presentation skills. Ability to clearly and succinctly convey his/her ideas to either groups or individuals.
- Strong regional and national payer knowledge.
- Strong organizational and communication skills- ability to navigate communication between Ferring Uro-Oncology BU and the HCP office.
- Understanding of patient privacy laws including HIPAA and similar state laws.
- Advanced understanding of compliance with OIG & regulatory requirements.
- Driving is an essential duty of this job; candidates must have a valid driver's license to be considered.
- The KAM role is Field based and requires significant travel (40-80%)
- Location: Flexible but must live within 50 miles of a major airport.
- Education: BS/BA Required, MBA Preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting approximately 3 - 4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger and operating an automobile up to 60% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
- Walking up to 15% of the time depending upon the geography of the territory.
- Climbing stairs and/or ramps may be required in certain urban territories where the use of public transportation may be necessary during the course of the workday.
- Standing, more than 1 -2 hours at a time.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling items such as laptop, iPad, printed material and product samples weighing up to 20 pounds, into and out of a car, train or airplane and into physician offices and/or medical facilities.
- Long distance travel via airplane or other commercial conveyance as required. Additional overnight and/or longer distance travel may be required more frequently, depending upon the territory.

Our Compensation and Benefits
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $128,000 to $232,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions - payouts are based on individual and geography/company performance.
Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
