The Role

Primarily responsible for the identification/development of IT solutions for external clients using company products, outsourced IT solutions and/or proprietary tools/techniques that others implement. Defines client needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Must be able to work 24/7 shift rotation.

The Main Responsibilities

  1. Manages projects or project sub-plans by developing, coordinating and controlling the steps necessary to carry out a project within established time frame, budget, quality and requirements.
  2. Investigates client needs, regulations, and technology to provide input into the design of a new system, system enhancements, or acquired software or hardware.
  3. Elicits and clearly defines client needs by assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential business solutions.
  4. Conducts business assessment reviews and walkthroughs for complex projects.
  5. Prepares and updates written material and explanations to accompany systems, programs, and program changes.
  6. Makes coding changes that impact system architecture/functionality.
  7. Coordinates and executes testing for multiple major applications.
  8. Develops and coordinates training for client personnel.
  9. Evaluates and documents the performance of tested software and the quality testing process to provide feedback to project team and management for current and future reference.
  10. Defines business requirements for interface screen design and conversion methodology.
  11. Independently resolves errors and issues as they occur with minimum involvement and guidance from management.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Fully seasoned with typically 5+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience or 2-3 years with a Master's Degree.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$63980 - $85300 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$67340 - $89780 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$70710 - $94270 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$74070 - $98760 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
